Capitol Cruisers is a group of women motorcycle enthusiasts located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Our mission is to unite all women motorcycle enthusiasts for recreation, education, mutual support, recognition, and to promote a positive image of motorcycling.

Women who have an interest in riding motorcycles (rider or passenger) are welcome to become members. We are a family friendly organization. We welcome all types and sizes of motorcycles.

Jennifer Lyn Weyers

 1972 - 2006

Jennie Weyers, 34, was traveling on the ramp of Route 424 toward westbound Route 50 shortly after 5 p.m. when she lost control of her motorcycle. She skidded off onto the shoulder and suffered severe head injuries as a result.  She was flown to Washington Hospital Center's MedStar Unit where she later died.

 Jennie was a professional nanny in Washington, D.C. and an active member of Women On Wheels in Maryland as well as Missouri, where she previously resided.

She was born March 20, 1972, in Orange, Calif., the daughter of Timothy Frank Weyers and Deloris Jean Patterson.

Survivors include her father, Timothy Weyers, Kimberling City, Mo.; her mother, Jean Patterson, Valley Falls, Ks.; two brothers, Bradley Weyers, Columbus, Ohio, and Jonathan Weyers, Valley Falls; four sisters, Megan Rice, Branson, Mo., Deanna Lyon, Austin, Texas, and Alison Weyers and Emily Weyers, both of Valley Falls; paternal grandparents, Tom and Mary Weyers, Kimberling City, Ks.; and maternal grandmother, Betty Patterson, Oskaloosa, Ks.
